The Running Stormtrooper Project began in early 2016 as a low profile, one off charity run. Since then the charity running has grown in challenge and success. The fundraising target was initially £2000, however so far over £63,000 has been raised (£70,000 inc Gift Aid). ...The curse of 2020 remained relentless! After a whole year of: re-plans, cancelations and an element of injury, the night before my final Stormtrooper run saw yet another hiccup due to emergency governmental COVID measures. In 2015 I ran the London Marathon to raise money for the amazing charity CLIC Sargent. Completing my first marathon was such an amazing experience, I knew I had to do it again.
It was August 2015 when I decided that i’d run again but in order to really earn some sponsorship for Make A Wish I would attempt to run the marathon dressed in full Stormtrooper armour.
